A Ceilidh at First Dromore Presbyterian Church Hall will take place on Friday 7 June from 8pm.
This will raise vital funds for Via Wings – a Dromore based charity with the tag-line: ‘Meeting Needs, Changing Lives.’
Via Wings aims to support people in the community in a practical, non-judgmental way. It has an ‘any situation through the door’ policy when it comes to helping people, but the main issues it tackles are related to:
• Poverty and living on the bread-line
• Social isolation
• Mental health
• Crisis and emergency situations
Alistair Scott and his Ceilidh Band will take part in the fundraising event.
They told us: “During one of our Ceilidhs there is something for everyone. From the young to the not so young, the experienced dancer to the absolute beginner and even those in possession of two left feet.”
A suggested donation of £10 per person is requested.
You will find Dromore Presbyterian Church Hall at 3 Diamond Road, Dromore
