Trees were planted recently at St Saviour’s church in the Diocese of Connor. Chris Wood from Mid and East Antrim Council, along with Rev Ian Magowan, David Culbert, Edric O’Neill planted the trees, which is part of a project funded by the Woodland Trust.
The trees will make the surroundings of St. Saviour’s even more beautiful for years to come and are testament to God’s creative power.
Rector at St. Saviour’s, Rev Ian Magowan told The Church Page:
“It was great to get these trees, especially after the recent storms we’ve been having, which damaged a number of the old trees. The new trees will preserve the beauty of this ancient 4th Century site for years to come. It’s great to see God in all His glory in the beauty of His Creation.”
