A Prayer Journey Through Easter will take place at The Venue, Broughshane Street, Ballymena throughout March 2024. This has been organised by the Without Walls Initiative.
A spokesperson wrote:
“As we approach Easter, you are invited to a prayer space created around the theme, and the wonder, of the Redemption Story. A ‘Prayer Journey Through Easter’ and beyond” – BALLYMENA PRAYS WITHOUT WALLS
WHEN: over the 4 Wednesdays in March – from 9am to 9pm,
WHERE: The Venue, 7-11 Broughshane Street, Ballymena (downstairs meeting room)
WHO: it’s open to all believers, no need to sign up. Bring a friend, bring your family. Stay for as long as you wish. These aren’t services or prayer meetings; this is an environment where we can engage with our Lord prayerfully, reflectively and personally.
WHAT: The themes, from week to week, will challenge us to consider deeply our own responses to the injustice, fear and darkness of Good Friday; the grief, despair and uncertainty of Easter Saturday; the joy, celebration and triumph of Resurrection Sunday; and the subsequent outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost as our empowering for life and mission:
⦁ Wednesday, 6th March – GOOD FRIDAY – Jesus crucified.
⦁ Wednesday, 13th March – EASTER SATURDAY – Jesus in the tomb.
⦁ Wednesday, 20th March – EASTER SUNDAY – Jesus raised from the dead.
⦁ Wednesday, 27th March – PENTECOST – Jesus empowers believers with the Holy Spirit.
