Alex Robb, well-known local singer, is set to release his latest album: ‘Father’ at Whitewell Metropolitan Tabernacle, Shore Rd, Belfast on Friday 16th June 2023 at 8pm. (Doors open at 7pm.)
Looking forward to the evening, Alex told The Church Page:
“In July of last year, my father was diagnosed with terminal cancer. As Christmas approached, I recorded nine songs, to give to him as his Christmas gift. However, his health declined rapidly and he passed away on the 23rd December. The day before he passed, I got to share the songs with him.
“With the blessing of my mum and family, I will release the album ‘Father’, which includes these nine songs, on Friday 16th June at 8pm in Whitewell Metropolitan Tabernacle. I would love to see you there. These are songs for my father to Our Father.”
Various friends and special guests will also be along to support Alex Robb on the night. This will be a free concert with no ticket required, although a freewill offering will be taken in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Why not get the date in your diary for what will be a great night of music and all to support a great cause.
