You and others from your church will be welcome to the Open Day at ‘The Venue’ Broughshane St, Ballymena on Wednesday 3rd May 2023. The centre will be open that day from 10am to 9pm.
Just over a year ago a group of Christians from a number of church denominations in Ballymena, came together and launched ‘The Venue’ in the former ‘Hope Centre’ on Broughshane Street in the town.
‘The Venue’ has developed into a centre that is now used by a range of groups and ministries, all of whom are committed to The Venue’s mission, which is to provide a location for others to use for Christ centred purposes.
On Wednesday 3rd May 2023, ’The Venue’ will be open one year. During that time it has provided meeting space for a wide range of organisations, including Prison Fellowship, Youth for Christ, Without Walls, Calvary Braid, Recovered Beloved and Olive Branch Counselling, as well hosting community and business information events and inter church prayer meetings.
The team at The Venue have provided support, care and a friendly face to hundreds of lonely and vulnerable people and Christian literature and New Testaments have made freely available to anyone who wants them.
