May Armstrong, (nee Campbell) from Bushfire Ministries will speak at the next meeting of the LESS One Ladies Friendship Group on Tuesday 1st November 2022 from 10am.
First Portglenone Presbyterian Church Hall will be the venue.
Convenient parking is available in the Church car park off the Ballymena Road.
Bushfire Ministries is based in near Kitwe in Zambia and seek to feed, educate and disciple children and young people aged 8-20 years old; some of whom are infected with HIV/AIDS.
LESS ONE group leader, Angela Whyte told us: “This month we are adding an extra C to our list. We are asking members to bring good quality used clothing such as winter coats, jackets and jumpers for men and women, in addition to unused bras and underwear.
“Also, bring duvets, bedsheets, good quality bric-a-brac and toys which will be taken and sold at the Bushfire Ministries shop at the Diamond, Kilrea with every penny going directly to help these needy children.
“Please join us for our usual Chat, Chorus, Craic, Comfort, Cake, Chocolates and Coffee”, added Angela.
