As usual, Holy Week and Easter will be a busy time for everyone at High Kirk Presbyterian Church in Ballymena.
From Monday to Friday of Holy Week, (11th-15th April 2022) there will be a series of lunchtime talks between 12.30pm-2pm. A light lunch will be served, although registration is needed.
Rowan Zeelie, the Associate for Discipleship at High Kirk, will be taking these lunchtime and evening talks focusing on ‘the People of Holy Week’. The evening talks will be a repeat of that day’s lunchtime talk. The evening sessions are planned for Monday, Tuesday and Thursday of Holy Week from 7.30pm-8.30pm where tea and coffee will be served.
Café Explore will run on Wednesday 13th April 2022 between 7.30pm-8.30pm.
A Communion Service for Good Friday 15th April 2022 has also been organised, starting at 8pm.
Easter Sunday, (17th April 2022) will kick off at 9.30am with an All-Age Service led by Stephanie Houston; Rev Norman Cameron is looking forward to leading an Easter Celebration at 11.30am. The day will conclude with another celebration at 6.30pm with The Movement.
Hope House, which is located at 7 Alexander Park, Doury Road, Ballymena, will be the venue for Easter Hope on Monday 11th, Wednesday 13th and Friday 15th April 2022 from 10am-12noon. Drop in anytime and leave anytime. These mornings will centre on ‘connect, conversation and sharing the hope that is only found in Jesus and what the Bible has to say.’ Tea, coffee, treats and kids’ crafts are also promised.
