Rice Kitchen Ministries are currently seeking volunteers to help in its busy charity shop on the Crebilly Road, Ballykeel in Balymena. Run by Valerie and Sammy Greer, Rice Kitchen Ministries is a registered, not for profit charity, which has been active for 15 years.
Talking about the amazing work they do, a spokesperson told us: “We provide ministry, clothes, food and medicine for those living on dumpsites in the Phillipines. We also help in our local community to provide or source necessities that some people are doing without.
We are on the look out for another pair of hands to help volunteer in our charity shop in Ballymena.”

The shop is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10.30am until 4pm and on Saturdays from 11am-3pm.
