Flourish! – the interdenominational suicide prevention initiative – have organised two online training events for January and February 2021.
The first will be on Thursday 14th January 2021 from 11am-3pm with breaks included. The focus will be on self-care.
On Friday 19th February 2021, there will be an online conference called Understanding the Suicidal Person and the Factors which lead to Suicide Ideation. This will run from 10am-2:30pm.
Explaining more, a Flourish representative told The Church Page:
“The aim of these training modules is to explore the relationship between the theological understanding of suicide and how this translates into pastoral action.
“We invite all clergy, youth workers, lay pastoral staff and staff representatives from Churches of all denominations to attend.”
