‘Miracle Man’ Richard Bell tells how God saved his life

Richard Bell, who leads the Gospel Bus Ministry in Ballymena, was quite rightly described as a ‘miracle man’ by the paramedics who attended him following a near fatal cardiac arrest on Thursday 2nd August 2020.

In human terms, it was only the fact that his young son, Daniel was able to perform CPR until help arrived that the Castledawson native survived.

On Sunday night, 27th September 2020, over 100 people came to a specially erected marquee to hear Richard’s incredible ‘From Death To Life’ testimony.

So perilous was he condition that medics worked on him for 1 hour 45 minutes before he could be placed on life support. The well-known local evangelist was then placed in an induced coma for several days to aid his recovery.

Richard was eager to thank the staff of Antrim Area and the Royal Victoria Hospitals who aided his recovery. However, he reiterated that he was alive today because God is not finished with him and has a purpose for his life.
His powerful words encouraged onlookers to think about the destiny of their own souls and are certain to leave a deep impact beyond Sunday’s inspirational gathering.

Joining Richard on stage was his daughter, Cherith who led worship & praise with rousing praise songs including ‘Power of The Blood of the Lamb.’ Their friend, Katie also played a beautiful violin solo.

The evening ended with a freewill offering, the proceeds of which will be used to purchase a defibrillator for the local community.
