Members of the Ballymena Church Members Forum have organised two special events for the latter part of March 2020.
Care for Creation Art Exhibition
From Monday 23rd March until Monday 30th March 2020 you can see the Care for Creation Art Exhibition in The Braid Arts Centre, Ballymena. This includes an outdoor trail on selected bus shelters in Ballymena, Ahoghill and Cullybackey running until Monday 6th April 2020. This is a partnership project between the Forum and Mid and East Antrim Borough Council. It is a celebration of our natural world; aiming to highlight environmental concerns and how we can all work together to Care for Creation. Eight churches in the area hosted workshops which brought together citizens of all ages, abilities and faith backgrounds. All the artworks will be on display in the Braid daily, excluding Sunday, from 10:00am to 8pm. Admission is free.
An Evening of Conversation – ‘Journeying Together’
On Tuesday 24th March 2020 in the Old School House, Gracehill you can hear An Evening of Conversation – ‘Journeying Together’. This will begin at 7:30pm. Local clergy, Reverend David Cooper, Monsignor Patrick Delargy, Bishop Sarah Groves and Reverend William Sinclair, will join the Right Reverend Dr Norman Hamilton OBE to talk about their faith journeys and the way ahead. Light refreshments will be served.
