The McCaw’s are looking forward to celebrating Christmas 2019 at the Belfast City Mission Hall on Mayo Street.
Paul, Lorraine, Cameron and Caleb McCaw sent us their latest Prayer Letter which details their plans for Mayo Street Hall as they celebrate our Saviour’s birth. They write:
“Christmas is upon us once again, and as we continue to serve the Lord in Mayo Street, we pray that the folks we meet will come to know the Lord as their Wonderful Counselor, their Mighty God, their Everlasting Father and their Prince of Peace!
2019 has been a year of celebrating 130 years of Mayo Street Belfast City Mission Hall. It has been a good year with many extra events which were well attended, but unfortunately, we still have no more at our Sunday Services. However, we do have great numbers attending Kids Club and new members at Mums And Young Ones and Sunday School which is encouraging.
In October we had our Harvest Thanksgiving Service, which was well attended. We also had Colin Tinsley from Hope for Youth Ministries came along in November to tell us about his work all around the world.
December is now upon us, so over the next few weeks, we will be organising events, entertaining and enjoying ourselves!
Please pray for the following activities:-
~ TOY APPEAL – 2nd& 3rd + 9th & 10th December 2019
~ HALL CHRISTMAS DINNER – 6th December 2019
~ SUNDAY SCHOOL CHRISTMAS PARTY – 14th December 2019
~ SUNDAY SCHOOL CHRISTMAS SERVICE – 15h December 2019
~ MUMS AND YOUNG ONES CHRISTMAS PARTY – 17th December 2019
~ KIDS CLUB CHRISTMAS PARTY – 18th December 2019
~ CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT SERVICE – 22nd December 2019 at 4pm – Invites will be distributed nearer the time for this service, so please pray that folks in the area will attend to hear the gospel message this Christmas! You are ALL very welcome to come along!
Finally, we just want to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and thank you for your continued prayerful and financial support. May God Bless you and your families in 2020.”
