The LESS ONE Ladies Friendship Group, (Innisrush) plan to meet again on Tuesday 5th November 2019 at 3 Sixteen Café on Main Street, Portglenone from 10:30am.
This month’s speaker will be May Armstrong (nee Campbell) who will talk about the work of Bushfire Ministries which is active in Zambia.
According to it’s blog, Bushfire Ministries ‘is a registered non-governmental and non profit making faith based organization (FBO) working towards alleviating poverty in Zambia by assisting orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs) with shelter, clothing and education support and mobilizing community leaders in the fight against HIV / AIDS.’
Along with a message from May, everyone at the meeting can enjoy the six Cs – cake, chorus, chat, coffee, craic and comfort.
As ever, Angela Whyte and her team are grateful to the Minister and Kirk Session of First Portglenone Presbyterian Church for use of their facilities. They are also keen to thank the caretaker, Mrs. Shirley Lowry, who prepares the building each month.
LESS ONE is open to all ladies who are living alone. Free parking is available in the Church Car Park opposite the Café. Anyone who needs a lift to LESS ONE should let Angela know, simply telephone: 028 2582 1883.
