A special service to mark Mental Health Sunday at St Patrick’s Parish Church in Broughshane will be held on 17th November 2019 at 11:30am. You are invited to join them for worship at this service and hear from a visiting team from mental health organisation, Hope 4 Life NI.
Parish Rector, Rev Dr Andrew Campbell told us:
“Mental health is often a neglected or dismissed aspect of our health and well being, but in St Patrick’s we believe it is important, that as people created in God’s image, our whole being is important and should be supported.
“Therefore on Sunday 17th November 2019, we will be welcoming the team from Hope 4 Life NI to our Sunday worship to hear about their work with young people and adults. From their experiences we want to learn how this will work with what the Bible says to our church family.”
Hope 4 Life NI say in their mission statement, “Our vision is for everyone to enjoy good mental health, for everyone to be able to avail of the services they need, for prevention rather than recovery to be the focus as we all know that “prevention is always better than cure”. Find out more about the programmes they offer on their website here.
