Everyone is welcome to the Harvest Thanksgiving Services at Lylehill Presbyterian Church on Sunday 6th October 2019. The services will take place at 12noon and 7pm.
Looking forward to these meetings, a spokesperson for Lylehill Presbyterian Church told us:
“Harvest is a particularly important and special time of the year when we give thanks to God for providing us with the seasonal conditions needed to allow the crops that provide the basis for our food”
“In the relatively prosperous region of Western Europe, it is very easy to take our yearly harvest and clement weather conditions for granted. However, in so many other places, people just like you and me are starving. It is only by the grace of God that we enjoy the blessings that we do.”
“With that in mind, please come and give thanks for the harvest with us at either or both of our services. Our minister, Rev Jonathan Boyd will preach the word and the choir at Lylehill are preparing some very special music.”
Lylehill Presbyterian Church is located at 90 Lylehill Road, Templepatrick BT39 0HL. Find out more about the church on their website here or find them on Facebook here.
