All Saints’ Parish Centre, Broughshane Road is the venue where Christians from all denominations in the Ballymena area are being invited to gather for Prayers of Blessing for Ballymena and the Land on Friday 13th September 2019.
Organised by Ballymena House of Prayer, the first meeting of the new season will take place in the Slemish Conference Room in the Parish Centre from 12:45pm-1:30pm.
Ballymena House of Prayer spokesman, Dr Jonathan Leakey, explained why any believer who can, needs to get involved.
He said: “Our theme during all of this year has been a Heart Cry for Mercy for the Land. Our nation is at a critical point in time – what with an inactive Stormont, the threatened imposition from Westminster, if Stormont does not reconvene by the 21st October, of a highly liberal abortion law, as well as a redefinition of marriage, not to forget the ongoing Brexit uncertainty. Our town continues to face ongoing economic and jobs uncertainty. We are asking God to have mercy and forgive us for our sins as individuals, communities and nation, to rescue and deliver us from those cycles of sin and wrong mindsets that grieve the heart of God, and to heal and restore all that is broken in our town, borough and land.”
