Jaqueline Kennedy will be the speaker at the next meeting of the LESS ONE (Innisrush) friendship group for ladies who are living alone. This meeting will take place on Tuesday 5th February 2018 at 10:30am.
The venue, as usual, will be 3:Sixteen Cafe, Main Street, Portglenone. Jacqueline will speak about her journey through cancer, her faith and will open up about her many trial and tribulations.
Group leader, Angela Whyte told The Church Page:
“I am looking forward to hearing her story of how she held on to her faith through so many difficult times. This meeting is open to ladies of all ages and faiths who would like to hear Jacqueline’s inspiring story.”
“We will also have our usual five Cs: Chat, Comfort, Craic Cake and Coffee. We have also added three new ones, which are especially relevant to women on their own. These are Choices, Chances and Changes.”
“So ladies, see you all, whatever you are going through, to make that CHOICE so you have a CHANCE to make your life CHANGE for the better”, Angela smiles.
The LESS ONE ladies are grateful to the Minister and Session of First Portglenone for use of the premises. Thanks also goes to the caretaker who prepares the cafe for each meeting.
Free parking is available in the Church Car Park which is opposite the cafe. Anyone who needs transport is welcome to contact Angela on 028 2582 1883 and she will get that arranged.
