Popular Gospel singer, Amy Roberts will be ministering in word and song at Townsend Street Presbyterian Church, Belfast on Friday 1st June 2018, beginning at 7:00pm.
Letting us know more about this event, Townsend Street Minister, Rev Jack Lamb told The Church Page:
“Amy’s testimony can best be summarised using the phrase ‘From Cabaret to Christ.’ This includes her deliverance from alcohol addiction during her time as a cabaret singer under the stage name of ‘Zoe Zimmerman’.
We are absolutely delighted to be welcoming Amy to Townsend Street Presbyterian Church. Our building is actually very close to the location of a bar where Amy used to perform regularly. It is amazing that God has now brought her back there to tell us how He has changed her life.”
Jack went on to assure potential audience members that the Peace Gate, which is close to his Church, will be open on the night to ensure that extra free parking is available. The car park will, of course, be fully supervised.
No charge will be levied for Amy’s event although a freewill offering will be taken.
