The next Prayers of Blessing for Ballymena event will take place on Friday 12th January 2018. The venue will be Ballymena Methodist Church and will be held at the usual lunchtime slot from 12:45pm to 1:30pm.
Once again, the theme will be ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord.”
House Of Prayer spokesman, Jonathan Leakey added: “We will also be exploring a little more of what it means to bless.”
Why do we bless?
• We bless because God has commanded it.
• We bless because it is the fruit of a thankful heart.
• We bless because God has chosen to act through His image bearers.
• We bless because all of creation is longing to hear the heart of God.
The prayers will be structured but informal. It will include worship, Bible readings, guided prayers and a time for open prayer for the town & the area in small groups.
