A concert in aid of Project Romania will take place in Ballyclare Town Hall on Thursday 11th January 2018 at 7:30pm.
The evening will be compered by Terrance McKee. It will also feature Elaine Gowdy, Raymond Crooks, ‘The Singing Chef’ and the Boys’ Brigade Centenary Choir.
Also taking part are Tom Stephenson, Nell Hire and the Violin Girl, Madeline McDowell. It is certainly a packed programme of entertainment in support of a wonderful cause! A light supper will also be provided.
The concert is being organised by Ballyclare woman, Sharon Ferguson, who has been involved with the charity since 2009.
Project Romania was established in 1998 as a Christian Humanitarian Aid Charity. Its purpose is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in practical ways.
Talking about its life-changing work, she told The Church Page:
“Project Romania aims to provide for people there at the point of their need. We go out and wash and feed them, build houses, buy provisions or take then to hospital – whatever they need. This work undoubtedly saves lives.”
