Works of Heart Open Night is on Monday 23rd October 2017 at 7:00pm. Works of Heart is a Bible journaling group based in First Ahoghill Presbyterian Church.
If you’re interested in hearing more about what Bible journaling is and how it can impact your walk with God then please come along.
Group spokesperson, Laura Smyth told The Church Page:
“We will be starting with a time of worship at 7:00pm. This will be followed by a short talk on our own journey through illustrating our faith and why we are so passionate about it. Our ladies will then be demonstrating some of the techniques we use. There will be an opportunity for you to have a go if you wish and have something to take home. Whether you consider yourself naturally ‘arty’ or not, there will be something on offer for everyone. No previous experience necessary!”
Laura went on to say:
“We truly believe that we have all been created to create and that Bible journaling is simply a form of worship that points us to and glorifies the ultimate Creator. The emphasis is really on the heart behind the art. So come along for a night of creative fun and fellowship and have a chat with us over a cup of tea. Everyone will be most welcome. The event is aimed at those in at least Year 12 at school with no upper age limit!”
