Ireland4Jesus Ballymena is part of the larger island-wide outreach initiative. It aims to bring Churches together in a bid to reach out to the lost people within our communities.
Over the next few weeks co-ordinated events are taking place across the island of Ireland. From Dublin & Drogheda, Cork, Belfast, Portstewart and Ballymena.
Ireland4Jesus Ballymena will run from Saturday 27th May until Tuesday 30th May 2017. God’s people from all backgrounds will be reaching out to unsaved individuals and families with the good news of Salvation through Jesus Christ.
Celebration House on Railway Street, Ballykeel Pentecostal Church and Bethel Fellowship in Portglenone are just three of the fellowships involved. The GodmodeX Gaming Bus, Ballymena House of Prayer and the Acts 3 group in Paradise Avenue are also taking part.
A FREE Family Fun Day will happen on Saturday 27th May 2017 from 12noon until 3:00pm. This will include a BBQ, bouncy castles, face-painting and lots of other great activities for the children.
Later that day between 6:00pm-8:00pm there will be a Kids’ Night with childrens entertainers, Ed and Sonya Corbin from America. It will be held in a Big Tent, which will be erected at Ballee Playing Fields.
The Big Tent will also host three nights of meetings for adults. Set to begin on Sunday 28th May 2017 at 6:30pm. They will continue through Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th May 2017 at 7:30pm.
Various local speakers plan to take part in addition to international guests from the USA and other nations.
Worship, Word, and prayer for the sick will be offered on each night.
Ireland4Jesus Ballymena is a community outreach event taking place from Saturday 27th May until Tuesday 30th May 2017.
Several churches and ministries are involved in this exciting outreach. A spokesperson for the organisers told The Church Page.
“It is the first time this has happened in Ballymena. Ireland4Jesus grew out of Philippines4Jesus. This was a project which happened in Manila and a few other towns on a massive scale. 250,000 souls were reached and won for the Kingdom.”
“Over the next days ahead 33,000 leaflets will be delivered throughout Ballymena and the outlying areas as far as Kells, Ahoghill, Portglenone and Cloughmills”.
A lot of work has gone into planning of Ireland4Jesus Ballymena outreach initiative 2017.
Many pastors and Church leaders have been working together for months to make Ireland4Jesus a reality. A spokesperson talking about the preparations said.
“The exciting thing about the family Fun Day is that it is at the end of a week of school’s ministry. We are in six schools taking assemblies and Scripture Union Classes and we anticipate that 1,200 children will be ministered to. We have a children’s missionary entertainer coming and he is going to be going into the schools to do a 45-minute presentation there. Afterwards we will be inviting families to come along to the Fun Day.”
Organisers of Ireland4Jesus are keen for every denomination of God’s people to be involved. They also stress that the event is not aimed at ‘church people.’ It is intended as an outreach to the lost or those who have fallen away in their walk with Jesus.
“This is going to be a powerful event! We are believing the Lord to see many lives changed by the message of the cross and power of the Holy Spirit. Come along and bring those with you who need to encounter Jesus. We believe it is going to be four great days of change, miracles, signs and wonders!”
