Ballymena Church Members Forum Pre-election Prayer event is on Thursday 23rd February 2017. The venue is Montgomerys Restaurant, Ballymoney Street, Ballymena and will run from 7:30pm – 9:30pm.
Ballymena Clergy Fraternal have been asked to lead the meeting. The evening will be in their hands as regards how the time is divided up and the meeting is conducted.
This prayer evening is open to everyone. People will be able to come when they can and go when they have to.
The election candidates have all been invited but they will not be expected to make any contribution. Some have already indicated that they will be present.

A spokesperson for the Forum said, “It would be great if those of you who are Clergy and Leaders of Fellowships would encourage members of your congregations to join for an evening of prayer. After all, the scriptures tell us that we should pray for those set in authority over us. The Forum Committee believes that prayer is central to all Christian activity. This is one of the most effective things we can do in helping to change our community so we would urge as many as possible to come along.”
