The Radio Cracker 2016 Carol Service is taking place on Sunday 11th December at 8:15pm. The event is being held in what has become the regular venue of Montgomerys Restaurant and Coffee Shop.
You’re invited to come along to the Radio Cracker Ballymena annual carol service and bring friends and family too! A great opportunity to get into the festive spirit and a time to remember the true meaning of Christmas. Cambridge House orchestra and choir will be leading the worship again, as they have done for several years now. Mr Keith McIlroy will be the speaker. A collection will be taken up at the service with all money going to the projects which Radio Cracker intends to support this year.
A summary of those projects are –
Bread For Kenya – the supply of rainwater tanks to the Tharaka people in Kenya.
E3 Initiative – working with a local mission in South Africa to start up a chicken rearing farm.
EMMS International – funding for a Christian hospital in India to allow them to purchase a much needed ultrasound scanner and solar powered water heater.
Kids4School – are planning to build a Christian Academy comprising primary, secondary, vocational schools and a church.
Life-line Ministries – intending to replace a corrugated tin classroom in Kenya with a more permanent structure.
Second Sight – have been carrying out cataract removal procedures in Bihar State, India for many years. With your help, and at a cost of only £15 per procedure, they would like to do lots more.
Tearfund – the project they’ve asked us to fund is one which will renovate, refurbish and supply teaching materials for a school in Beirut.
With your help and generosity all these projects can be fully funded this year. To read a more detailed summary of the projects click here.
