GodmodeX takes Jesus to the community of Ballymena and beyond. GodmodeX is a Christian ministry with ten different programmes available to the public. This includes birthday parties, youth clubs, schools, summer camps and much more. The heart of Godmodex has always been to share the simple gospel message that Jesus loves you.
Mike Scott, who founded the ministry told The Church Page, “In recent months we have had the honour of partnering with six churches. We have around 20 volunteers aged between 14 to 70+ taking our bus into estates in and around Ballymena.
The bus is fully kitted out with X-boxes, Play Stations and screens. It also has a PA system and kitchen area for tea and coffee and a tuck shop.”
Revealing how GodmodeX has already been used by God, Mike revealed, “Our first inter-church mission took place in Dunclug back in May. We completed a six-week mission visiting other areas including Ballykeel 2, Doury Road, Demense and Tullygarley. During this period we handed out a number of bibles to adults and children. We were also able to pray and share the gospel, with 14 people making a commitment to follow Jesus.”
He went on to say: “We felt drawn to return to Dunclug. We began another series of Mission on Thursday nights on 8th September. Again we have offered prayer, carried out home visits, worshipped on the bus and 11 children have received Christ as their personal Saviour.”

The GodModex team are currently out two nights per week. If you feel you would like to join us for a night to see what we do then please get in touch. Either phone Mike Scott 07888847066 or email mike@godmodex.co.uk.
Mike concluded by saying: “If your church has a team of people with a heart for community then feel free to get in touch. Together we can see if there is an area you would like the bus to be used to outreach in. We would love to come into churches to share the story of Godmodex. We can explain how we started and how much we have grown in the last two years.”
