You are invited to come along to the thanksgiving services as they celebrate Harvest at Third Portglenone Presbyterian Church. The minister and members of Third Portglenone would love to see you at their Harvest Thanksgiving services on Sunday 9th October 2016 at 12 Noon and 6:00pm.
The speaker at Morning Worship will be Rev. Gary Glasgow while Dr. Bill Parker plans to address the evening service. Both services will include a number of timely anthems sung by the Church Choir.
As well as the services to give thanks for harvest at Third Portglenone Presbyterian Church, the congregation are also looking forward to a visit from Rev. Ian Hamilton on Sunday 6th November.
Looking further ahead to Sunday, 6th November 2016, the congregation are looking forward to the visit of Rev. Ian Hamilton to Third Portglenone.
Ian Hamilton is a Trustee of the Banner of Truth Trust and has preached at conferences around the world. His books include a commentary on the Letters of John, published by the Trust in the ‘Let’s Study’ series, and The Faith-Shaped Life.
According to the Banner of Truth website, Ian Hamilton has recently retired as minister of Cambridge Presbyterian Church where he had served since 1999. He graduated from Edinburgh University in 1979 and became the minister of Loudoun Church of Scotland, Newmilns, Ayrshire in the same year, serving there for almost twenty years. He is married to Joan, and they have four children.
Inviting everyone to come and hear Rev. Hamilton speak, Third Portglenone’s Minister, Rev. Philip McCullough told The Church Page: “We are keen for those outside Third Portglenone congregation to have the opportunity to hear Ian speak, so everyone will be welcome at any of our services.”
