A great night of country gospel music is assured at a Country Gospel Concert at St. Mark’s Parish Church Armagh this Friday night, 23rd September 2016 at 8.00pm. It will be held in the church’s Crozier Hall.
Headlining is the well-known Christian singer, Kathryn Mitchell, who released the excellent ‘Faithful’ album. She will be joined on stage by Warren Smyth, The Stonewall Group and Fiddler Adam.
Admission to the concert is £10, which is payable at the door.
All proceeds are going to a cause that is very close to Kathryn’s heart and many others – the Sunnymead Residential Care Home.
She explains: “We have formed a group called the Sunnymead Community Association to try and help these residents enjoy the freedom of a sensory garden. I work as the activity co-ordinator there. We have a fantastic home but we don’t have a safe environment for them to access the garden without supervision.
This project will enhance their quality of life and improve their health and well-being. I just love these folk and it’s such a great privilege that I get to spend my days with them”, smiles Kathryn.
