Moira’s Big Weekend will take place from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th June 2016. Five Moira churches have got together to plan an amazing weekend of activities and events for everyone, all taking place in the Moira Demense. Many of these events will be held in a huge 1000 seater marquee, including a special event for the local primary schools on Friday morning with a puppet show by Crown Jesus Ministries, and an acoustic cafe on the Friday & Saturday nights.
Moira’s Big Weekend also includes an Inter-church service at 11.00am on the Sunday. With 5 churches getting together to form a praise band and choir, as well as the local primary school choirs, this is a service not to be missed. It also includes a message from Bishop Ken Clarke & a puppet show with Sam Shaw.
Picnic in the Park follows at 1.00pm with face painting & a puppet show. Just bring your own picnic!
