A concert featuring the PSNI Ladies Choir at Moravian Church Gracehill will take place this Friday, 15th April 2016 at 8.00 pm. The concert has been planned as a fundraiser for a team trip going with Habitat For Humanity to Ethiopia. Raymond Kitson, a member of the Moravian Church in Gracehill, signed up for a Ballymena based team to go overseas with Habitat for Humanity earlier in the year. Unfortunately, this group did not get off the ground so Raymond has been placed in another collective to go to Ethiopia with Habitat from 26th August to 9th September 2016.
Together, they will travel to the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa to be involved in a house-building project.
Looking forward to the expedition, Raymond said: “It will be a very challenging trip; I have never done anything like it before but I certainly hope we can make a difference when we are there.”
He went on to say: “What we will be doing will be dictated by what stage construction on each home is at. As one team goes, another one arrives so we could be involved in anything from laying foundations to brickwork or roofing depending on how much our predecessors have accomplished.”

Admission to the PSNI Ladies Choir at Moravian Church Gracehill fundraising concert will cost just £7 each. You can pay at the door or phone Raymond on 07879 435134 to reserve your seat.
Encouraging people to come along, he said: “It would be great if the hall could be filled for this event. Before the choir sing, I will spend five minutes talking about the work we plan to do and refreshments will be served afterwards.”
