A Ballymena Church Members Forum series on forgiveness has been planned to run in Gracehill Old School House.
Everybody at some time has been wronged. How we respond will define us and also decide whether healing and restoration happens or whether the domino effect will go on and on.
This short series includes ‘A Step Too Far’, a powerful film that cuts deep into the soul of everyone who watches.
The film was inspired by the Amish community’s response to the Nickel Mines Schoolhouse shootings in Lancaster County Pennyslvania in 2006.
Beginning the film with our own Shankill bomb atrocity of 1993 the scene shifts to Pennyslvania, where with the help of a few professors from Messiah college, there is an investigation of the Amish community’s philosophy of forgiveness.
