‘First Grace’ clothing and outreach ministry is a relatively new venture for First Ballymena Presbyterian Church. Their on-site clothing ministry runs each Wednesday from 10:30am – 12:30pm.
Explaining what happens there, First Ballymena spokesperson, Stephen Lamont told The Church Page:
“This service provides a wide range of clothing for various age groups at no cost at all to people in times of need. We understand that most people at some point in their lives may appreciate a little practical help.”
“‘First Grace’ provides a safe place where people can come as they are and feel accepted. The atmosphere is relaxed and individuals can enjoy a chat and a browse through the many clothes rails over a cup of tea or coffee. ‘First Grace’ also gratefully accepts all types of clothes donations”, added Stephen.
“My children, we should love people not only with words and talk but by our actions and true caring “. (1 John 3 verses 17- 18.)
