Health, Wellbeing and Reflection Day At Ballymena Methodist
You are invited to a Health, Wellbeing and Reflection Day at Ballymena Methodist Church. This is taking place on Friday, 4th November 2016. The day is being organised as part of the ‘Creative Citizens’ programme of Mid and East Antrim Borough Council. The event will run between 10:00am and 3:00pm.
There will be space for reflection, prayer and prayer requests in the church.
A range of treatments, sessions and talks will be available free of charge in the hall. They must be booked via the Braid Arts Centre.
Visitors can enjoy Sound Relaxation Sessions, Hand Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Massage & Foot Reflexology. Talks on Sound Therapy and Reflexology will also be given on the day.
Elaine McDonald, Living Rooms Project Coordinator at Ballymena Methodist Church spoke about the event. She said, “We understand that this run up time to the Christmas period can be particularly stressful for some. Our wish for all those who do come on the day is to enjoy a peaceful and uplifting experience in a safe and welcoming environment.
The hope is that this will be a day of kindness to nourish ourselves spiritually, physically and mentally.
We will offer refreshments but, just as importantly, there will also be friendship and an open door for anyone. We encourage you to come and be part of the day.”
Three sessions of sound therapy will be available at 11:00am, 12.30pm and 1.30pm. Each one should last 45 minutes.
20 minute slots for Hand and Foot Reflexology and Aromatherapy and Massage are on offer from 10:00am until 2.40pm. There will be a 30 minute break at 12:00pm and a 20 minute pause at 2:00pm.
The talk on Sound Therapy will run from 10.15am to 10.45am. The one on Reflexology can be heard between 11.15am and 11.45pm.
The Health, Wellbeing and Reflection Day at Ballymena Methodist Church is for everyone. It’s on Friday 4th November 2016, from 10:00am – 3:00pm. Pre-booking the treatments & talks is essential.
