European Mission Fellowship Conference in Ballymoney Baptist // Sat 20 May 2023
Here We Stand! Not Ashamed of the Gospel is the title of a Conference that is being organised by the European Mission Fellowship (EMF) on Saturday 20th May 2023. The venue will be Ballymoney Baptist Church and it is set to run from 10.10am until 1.30pm with tea and coffee served from 9.45am.
For anyone who is unfamiliar with EMF, the mission has been partnering with Churches and missionaries across Europe to spread of the Gospel of Grace with the aim of reaching souls for Jesus Christ since 1964. Currently, the organisation is working with 93 missionaries in 18 countries across the continent.
Going along to the Conference will give you an opportunity to hear directly from some of these workers; Iliya Marinov is serving with EMF in Bulgaria, while Tobias Haslund-Thomsen is active in Denmark.
Also part of the day will be Trevor Watson, who is Crosslinks Missionary to Sweden; Dr Sharon James from the Christian Institute will be also be sharing via video link.
Explaining why it is so important to attend the Conference, EMF’s Northern Ireland representative, Phil Dunn told The Church Page: “Ridicule, rejection and even hatred; these are realities for growing numbers of Christians across our own country and across our own continent. The need to stand firm in the Gospel is greater than ever.”
First time visitors to Ballymoney Baptist Church will find it at 60 Ballymena Road, Ballymoney BT53 7EZ.
