Coffee Morning & Quilt Exhibition at Buckna Presbyterian Church Hall // Sat 20 May 2023
Brother and sister team, Jude and Kezia McIntyre, are organising a Coffee Morning & Quilt Exhibition at Buckna Presbyterian Church, Broughshane (kindly granted) on Saturday 20th May 2023 from 10am-2pm.
Jude and Kezia will travel on a mission trip to Thailand and Laos with AsiaLink this summer and all donations taken at the event will go towards raising the funds needed to help others on the trip.
Writing on a JustGiving page they have set up to support their endeavours, Kezia says: “Jude and I are planning to go on a mission trip called Operation Monsoon from 2nd August-16th August. This trip includes helping trafficked women, children who have escaped the conflict in Myanmar and delivering Bibles to different parts of South-east Asia, such as Thailand and Laos.
“In order to go, we need to raise funds, so we will be completing a 100 kilometre walk throughout the month of April, in order to reach our goal! Below, I have attached the link for which you can donate and everything is much appreciated.
“The exhibition is set to feature new quilts by Sandra Weir and will run from 10am-2pm.”
