School Uniform Recycling Scheme Hub at St John’s Parish Church, Ballyclare
St John’s Parish Church Hall, Ballyclare, is the hub for the Ballyclare and District School Uniform Recycling Scheme.
Under the scheme, a wide selection of quality pre-worn uniforms and PE kit for Fairview, Ballyclare Primary, Secondary and High, plus all the other local primary schools, is available free of charge to families who need them.
Every item has been carefully selected and quality checked to make sure it’s good to go, saving families money and helping reduce the quantity of perfectly good clothing that ends up being sent to landfill every year.
The scheme is running in St John’s Church Hall, Doagh Road, every Wednesday morning throughout July and August (excluding August 17th, 2022)
On July 6, the first day of the scheme, there were lots of visitors calling in with donations throughout the morning and 20 families went home with their choice of quality uniforms and PE kit.
Visitors can also enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a chat when they call in to browse.
