Gospel In The City – Wednesday Lunchtimes in Belfast
Gospel in the City is a network of workers in Belfast city centre. Together, they hope to see more people bringing honour to God in Belfast by living out their faith in Christ in a public way in their workplaces.
A spokesperson for the team told The Church Page:
“We organise regular lunchtime meetings, which centre on a short Bible talk with opportunities for discussion afterwards. Our aim is to expound the gospel from the Bible in ways that will help Christians to live out their faith at work, while also being accessible to inquirers. We use speakers from a variety of different churches. Around that central base we hope to create informal opportunities for mutual fellowship and encouragement – e.g. office prayer groups, meeting for lunch/breakfast etc.”
Feel free to come along and meet the organisers in person: Wednesday lunchtimes from 1:00 to 1:30pm. You will find them at the Clayton Hotel, 22-26 Ormeau Avenue, Belfast BT2 8HS. The venue is just a short walk from the city centre. Tea, coffee and sandwiches are available.
For the next few weeks, the group will be looking at the book of Ecclesiastes and are excited to meet you.
