Members of Actively Transforming Youth & Community (ATYC) have organised a Beach & Community Day at Ballywalter Beach & Park, Ballywalter, BT22 2PE on Saturday 18 May 2024 from 11.00am-3.00pm.
This is open to all Capernwray holiday guests, their friends, the local community and local beach users.
Here is the timetable for the day.
• 11.30 Puppetry and Games in Presbyterian Church Hall
• 12.30 ‘Bring your Own’ Picnic lunch
• 1.15 Beach Games & Beach Walk
• 2.45 Close
An ATYC spokesperson told The Church Page: “Our goal is to progress Good Relations across our divided society – providing shared opportunities for newcomers and locals to meet so that new friendships and connections can be made.

2 – inform the refugee guests about our local community, and amenities
3 – introduce others to our programme
