Members of Capernwray Ireland are planning two exciting events over the coming weeks.
Fun Day Out & Picnic
On Saturday 9th March 2024, there will be a Fun Day Out & Picnic for the wider Capernwray Ireland family. This will give everyone the chance to have fun and a picnic together. It will be an opportunity for former holiday guests, families, friends & new folks to meet each other.
The venue for this will be the Ulster Folk Museum, Bangor Road, Cultra, Holywood BT18 0EU from 11.00am to 2.30pm.
Here is a rundown of what to expect on the day:
• Meet and Familiarisation of site. Investigate the farms, village, local activities and attractions
• Communal Picnic & Playtime
• Continued exploration of Folk Park
Admission is free** and you must BRING YOUR OWN PICNIC
** £5.00 deposit returnable when you join us.
Ballywalter Beach Day
On Saturday 18th May 2024 there will be a Ballywalter Beach Day at Ballywalter Beach & Park, Ballywalter, BT22 2PE from 11.00am to 3.30pm.
On the agenda that day will be:
• Puppetry and Games in Church Hall
• BBQ or picnic lunch
• Beach Games & Beach Walk
Come along, have fun, bring friends.
Many have benefitted from the teachings, fellowship, and activities of Capernwray in the past. Now is the time to pass the opportunity on to the next generation who are making Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland their home.
