Several of Ireland’s Church leaders, past and present, were guests at the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla in London on Saturday 6th May 2023.
Lord Eames, a past pupil of Methodist College Belfast and former Primate of All Ireland, had the pleasure of meeting the girl singers from Methody before they performed at the Coronation. Lord Eames was later present in the procession during the service as a member of the Order of Merit, an honour in the personal gift of the Sovereign, which he received from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 2007.
