Many happy returns to Mrs Meta McSeveney, a parishioner of St John’s Church, Glynn, Diocese of Connor, who celebrated her 100th birthday on 20th February, 2021.
Meta was born in Straid and moved to Glynn, near Larne, at a young age, joining St John’s after she got married.
Meta is pictured below with her birthday card she received from Her Majesty the Queen. She also received birthday cards from her parish family and from the Bishop of Connor, the Rt Rev George Davison. Meta is now a resident of Clanrye Private Residential Home.
The team at The Church Page would also like to congratulate Meta on reaching this milestone. Meta is the second person we have reported on recently who has been celebrating their 100th birthday!
