Women Together returns online – Hamilton Road Baptist Church, Bangor

The popular Women Together programme organised by Hamilton Road Baptist Church in Bangor will run online and be streamed via Facebook and YouTube for the Autumn term.

A spokesperson for Women Together told us what is in store:

“We will produce a magazine type programme for women of all ages and stages from our church family and beyond.

“Our first two broadcasts will be on Thursday 10th and Thursday 24th September 2020 at 10am on Facebook and YouTube.”

They added: “The first one is entitled: ‘A Place at the Table’. In the course of the broadcast we will learn how to set a dinner table, see an animation about the generosity of God from Genesis to Revelation and hear Bible teaching from Sharon Heron on the Parable of the King’s Banquet and enjoy a song that concludes our broadcast.

“The second broadcast on 24th September 2020 will be ‘Nearer God’s Heart in a Garden’.

“Among other things we will hear about a famous Garden poem, have a peek into the gardens of some of the women from Hamilton Road Baptist and hear an interview with a local garden blogger Alison Thompson. Sharon will also share some thoughts on the Two Trees in Genesis and there will an opportunity to enjoy some music”, added the spokesperson.
