The Big House (Ireland) is seeking a Counsellor to provide counselling for young people as part of The Listening Space. This is a professional counselling service provided by Christians to young people of secondary school age (11-18 years), regardless of their faith or background.

“We are looking for a counsellor who is qualified to at least Diploma level with two or more years of post-qualification experience, including experience of counselling young people.
They will be providing up to 8 counselling sessions per week in the North Coast area, extending to Ballymena and potentially Belfast. The job is initially for 12 hours per week on a one-year contract, with a view to increasing these, subject to sufficient funding.
As part of our small staff team, we are looking for someone who shares our passion for following Jesus, helping young people and serving the Church. You will also need to work well on your own, managing your own caseload. The Big House will provide clinical supervision and assistance with CPD opportunities.”
