Ian Simons and Band to play at Glenmachan Church of God

Ian Simons and Band will play at Glenmachan Church of God, Belfast on Saturday 16th November 2019. The concert will get underway at 7:30pm.
Revealing a little more about themselves, the band told us: “Many of us have been involved with bands, groups and choirs for many years. Our love of music and our faith in Jesus Christ has brought us to this point and who knows where we go from here!
Our aim is to lead God’s people in praise and worship of His glorious name. We believe that the whole church is important to God and for that reason we incorporate a selection of old and new songs in most of our repertoires. We have had many requests to play at secular events and to perform at wedding receptions.”
They went on to say: “The band has grown to become an 11-piece set up. This arrangement is ideal for large concerts but not so useful for general worship and praise gatherings. The wonderful thing about the band is that we can now offer a variety of options for worship leading. The versatility of the mix enables us to perform as a 3-piece, 5-piece, 7-piece or when the occasion permits, an 11-piece.
Hopefully with this set-up we can take our style of worship music to a wider audience and therefore develop our ministry through music.”
