‘First Serve’ Tennis Event and Fun Night – First Ballymena
Friday 21st June-Saturday 22nd June 2019
‘First Serve’ is a fundraising tennis marathon and fun night which will run from 6.30pm on Friday 21st June 2019 until 6.30pm on Saturday 22nd June 2019.
It is taking place at the Ballymena Academy Tennis Courts and has been organised in support of the renovation fund at First Ballymena Presbyterian Church.
The event is open to everyone and no previous tennis experience is required – racquets will be available.
Tennis events on Friday night
Friday night will begin with Junior Coaching for Primary School age children from 6.30pm-7.30pm. This will cost just £5 per child and is free of charge for Tennis Club Members.
Young people of Secondary School age can come for coaching between 7.30pm-9pm. Again, this will be available for £5 with no cost for Tennis Club Members.
From 9pm to midnight, anyone can Dabble in Doubles for only £5 per hour. All nighter tennis can be enjoyed from midnight until 5am on Saturday – sponsor sheets are available.
Table Quiz
At 7:30pm on Friday night, there will be a Table quiz in 6th Form Centre at the school. £5 per person and (teams will be allocated upon arrival) Supper served at interval.
Tennis events on Saturday
There is also a full programme of events organised for Saturday 23rd June 2019 from 6:00am to 6:30pm including Junior Coaching, Fun Doubles for adults and a family fun time from 2pm to 6:30pm
