The 2018 Gracehill Village Fair will be held on Saturday 23rd June from 1:00pm. The Fair is organised by Gracehill Moravian Church. All money raised on the day will go to the necessary repair funds which ensure the preservation of this unique place. If you’ve never been, a visit to this beautiful Moravian settlement just outside Ballymena is well worthwhile.
As well as the church and unique, quiet graveyard known as God’s Acre, there is much more to see. There’s the many distinctive stone buildings including the Museum and school (now used as a restaurant) and the restored old Post Office. There’s the Village square with its pond and mature oak trees. Conducted walking tours, which need to be booked in advance, are taken by the church and the Village Association. On the Fair Day itself the Village will become a hive of activity and fun. Lots of entertainment and entertainers will be there for all the family. There really will be something for everyone!

- Do Jo Martial Arts
- Line Dancers
- Slemish School of Irish Dancers
- Bonny Baby and Fancy Dress Parade
- T2Party Disco
- The annual colourful Balloon race
- The Ambulance Service and Fire Service whose vehicles well be on display for the public to view.
As well as these attractions there will be the usual huge variety of colourful stalls with all kinds of home made “goodies ” to choose from and exciting games and prizes. There will also be a barbeque and teas and sandwiches available in the school grounds.
Entrance is only £2.00 for adults and children are free. Come along on Saturday 23rd June at 1:00pm and enjoy all the fun of the Fair. After the Fair’s over why not stay on and enjoy a walk around this beautiful Moravian village.
