‘Wondrous 2018′ is an event organised by Elim Churches Ireland. It will take place from Sunday 15th until Friday 20th July 2018. The venue is the Ulster University Sports Centre, Jordanstown. They say the annual event ‘brings together Biblical teaching, praise, multi-media, creative arts, workshops and seminars as well as facilities for creche, primary school children and youth’.
This year’s theme will be ‘Unshakable – Standing Firm In Uncertain Times’. There is something planned to suit all ages during a packed week!
Morning Bible Studies, beginning on Monday 16th July, are planned for each weekday morning at 11:00am. These will be led by Simon Ponsonby. Simon is an internationally published author, speaker and Pastor who is based in St. Aldates Church, Oxford.
Youth Meetings will be led by Darren McClatchey and the Limitless team. They will take place each night from Monday 15th right through to Friday 20th. Aimed at 11-16-year-olds, these will kick off at 7.30pm.
‘Heroes Assemble’ for children aged 4-11 years will run at the same time each night and every morning from 11:00am. Leading these will be Ian Hartland and the Next Generation Team.
Evening Celebration events are also on the programme and will be held from Sunday 15th until Friday 20th. These will include input from internationally respected speakers. Amongst them will be James Aladiran, Founder of Prayerstorm. Also Dave Smith, Founder and Senior Pastor of Kingsgate Community Church in Peterborough. Completing the line-up is Peter Lynas, Director of the Evangelical Alliance (NI) and Rachel Hickson, international speaker and Director of Heartcry Ministries.
Rachel will also lead the Shine event for ladies of all ages. This is take place on Wednesday 18th July 2018 at 2:00pm.
A full programme of afternoon seminars will be published in the Wondrous 2018 Handbook which is available during the week.
A creche for babies aged 0-3 years will be available during the Evening Celebrations and facilities are available for parents to use during the morning events.
A range of residential, hotel, self-catering and camping facilities are available for booking for the duration of Wondrous.
