The next LESS ONE ladies friendship group meeting will be held on Tuesday 6th March 2018.
As usual, it will take place in 3 Sixteen Café, located on Main Street, Portglenone. The programme gets underway at 10:30am.
LESS ONE is open to ladies of any age and background who are living alone and looking to make new friends. Everyone who comes is welcome to enjoy some cake, chorus, chat, coffee, craic and comfort.
Angela Whyte and her team love to see new members coming along each time.
The speaker at the March 2018 LESS ONE Ladies Friendship Group Meeting will be Mr Norman Worthington.
Norman will talk about his work with the Bridge of Hope Charity which operates a charity shop in Portglenone. Additionally, there will also be a quick and cheap sale of jewellery, hats, scarfs and handbags with all proceeds going to this life-changing work.
Once again they would like to thank the Minister and Kirk Session of First Portglenone Presbyterian Church for continued use of their very comfortable Café facility each month. Thanks, as always, are also due to the caretaker, Mrs Shirley Lowry, who opens and heats the building beforehand.
