The congregation at Buckna Presbyterian Church has issued a ‘call’ to Mr Stephen Kennedy to become their new Minister.
Originally from Newry, Stephen is currently the Licentiate Assistant at Hill Street Presbyterian Church in Lurgan.
He is married to Lynn and the couple have two young daughters.
Buckna Presbyterian Church issue ‘call’ to Mr Stephen Kennedy who will be ordained and installed in January 2018.
Mr Kennedy preached for the Buckna vacancy as Sole Nominee on Sunday 3rd December 2017. The call was issued to him following a meeting of the congregation on Monday 4th December 2017.
A Service of Ordination and Installation for Mr Kennedy will be held in Buckna Church, a few miles from Broughshane, towards the end of January. The congregation there are very much looking forward to him coming and beginning his ministry there.
