The Radio Cracker Ballymena 2017 broadcast is well under way. On air every year for the 4 weeks up to Christmas, this year’s broadcast runs until Saturday 23rd December. That’s still over two weeks for you to listen to a great mix of music and chat through the week and a day of Gospel music each Sunday.
The charity radio station has raised approximately £1.5 million for Christian charities over the 25+ years it has been on air. This year they continue to ask for your support as they raise money for several projects, mainly in Africa and India. You can read more about these projects here.
Radio Cracker Carol Service
Another big event in the Radio Cracker calendar is their annual Carol Service. This takes place on Sunday 10th December at 8:15pm sharp. As has been the case for many years, the venue is Montgomerys Restaurant, Ballymoney Street, Ballymena. This is a relaxed and traditional carol service. You will be singing many of the popular carols and hear Christmas readings from several of this year’s presenters. Students from Cambridge House Choir & Orchestra will provide the music and lead the singing and the speaker is Mr Keith McIlroy. There will be an offering taken to support Radio Cracker. (Gift Aid envelopes will be provided) They would love to see you at this special annual service
