Gospel Mission at Glenwherry Presbyterian Church
A Gospel Mission at Glenwherry Presbyterian Church, outside Ballymena, will run from Sunday 1st to Sunday 8th October 2017. The Mission called ‘In Christ Alone’ will be conducted by Rev William Moody, minister of Brookside Presbyterian Church, Ahoghill.
Services on the two Sundays during the Mission will be held at 12noon and 7:00pm. The weeknight meetings, from Monday to Friday, get underway at 8:00pm.
A spokesperson gave us more details about the Gospel Mission at Glenwherry Presbyterian Church.
“We hope to begin the week of mission with a Men’s Breakfast on Saturday 30th September 2017 at 8:00am. This will include an epilogue from Rev William Moody.
On Sunday 1st October 2017, which is the first official night of the mission, we plan to have a testimony from Mr Gary McConnell. The following evening, Monday 2nd October, Michael and Hazel Saunderson will be singing. On Tuesday 3rd October, Mr Nigel Moorehead will explain how God has worked in his life.
Wednesday 4th October will see a Ladies Coffee Morning at 10:15am in the Church Hall. The speaker there will be Mrs Esther Gillanders. Later that day, everyone who attends the evening meeting will be able to enjoy the vocal talents of Mr Andrew Hoey.
Mrs Wilma Bonnar will testify on Thursday 5th October. The final weekday meeting on Friday 6th will be enhanced by ministry in song by The Brook Quartet”, revealed the spokesperson.
“Saturday 7th October takes the form of a Youth Night in the Church Hall. This will kick off at 8:00pm with praise from Glenwherry Praise Group. Crusaders FC star, Howard Beverland, will testify. Also Michael Rutledge, who is the Assistant Minister at Harryville Presbyterian Church, is set to deliver the main message.
‘In Christ Alone’ concludes on Sunday 8th October with morning and evening Harvest Praise Services led by Glenwherry Presbyterian Church choir. Please plan to attend and invite your friends.”
